The New Mad Spinner cowl is a British made revolving cowl designed to eradicate downdraught whilst the rotating action assists ventilation. Being made in house in the UK allows us to control all the manufacture of this very technical cowl whilst ensuring only prime materials are used in the production process. The Spinners are available with either the traditional chimney fixing method base or a cap base which makes the product less prone to allowing rain and debris to penetrate the chimney. |
Both bases are made from Prime Aluminium Sheet which is less porous than gravity cast bases.
These bases are available in either aluminium, terracotta, black or buff finishes to blend in with the chimney pot.
The 12mm diameter centre shaft is made to a very tight tolerance which allows the bearing mechanism inside to run more smoothly and freely, thus giving ultimate draw qualities.
- Fully assembled ready to fit
- Solves problems of down draught whilst the rotating action increases ventilation
- Tested to BS715: 1993 and against BSEN 1856
- For Flue temperature up to 200oC
- Cap version available with stainless steel hook bolts or strap fixings (Normal version available with internal stainless steel hook bolts)
- Substantially thick base which is far less porous than any form of cast construction whilst being more durable
- Stainless steel fin structure
- Base will be painted in a terracotta or buff to increase protection
- Universally fits pots from 125mm to 250mm
- Adapter plates available for 125mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm gas use
